The Casa Grande real estate market had a great year in 2021 in terms of number of total sales, total dollar volume of sales, and home price appreciation. The real estate market in Casa Grande is expected to continue with its strong pace in 2022 and the first month of the year as expected was another strong one. Lets take a look at some of the numbers for the month of January 2022 to see how the Casa Grande real estate market fared.
Homes for Sale in Casa Grande, AZ
The real estate market in Casa Grande had another strong month of home sales with more than 100 homes changing hands during the month. The number of actual real estate transactions that closed during the month of January reached 132 total transactions. The median sales price of all homes for sale in Casa Grande was $314,945 and the average number of days on the market was 33 days.
We are in the seasonally slower real estate sales season so a slower pace in the market is expected for this time of year. At the moment, there are 140 active listings on the market in Casa Grande and ideally that number should start to increase as we move into the Spring selling season. Hopefully we can get the active listings number to climb first over the 200 listings level and then above 250 to level off the fierce competition and over-bidding between buyers.
We also want to see more than a one-month supply of inventory in the market so we return to a more balanced market which means we have more than one month of inventory on the market at any given time.
