With Arizona being one of the highest net in-migration cities in the U.S. in the past year, finding a job when one arrives at their destination or even before is priority number one. But sometimes it is hard to find the major employers in a city when you are sitting in a location far away. Often that information is not offered in an accessible way for those that really need it. We wanted to put together a list of the largest employers in Arizona and make it available for those that really need it.
For the purposes of this article we will focus on the Phoenix area since that is the largest population center and largest employment center in Arizona. Most major employers will choose to call Phoenix home because the business center of the state is located here. We mean no disrespect to the Tucson area, but the employment numbers support this statistic on every level.
What Major Companies are in Phoenix?
While Phoenix will never be mistaken as a Fortune 500 employment hub, Phoenix has plenty of blue chip companies that offer very well paid jobs and careers. There are clusters of industries that are starting to build up some critical mass in the Phoenix area such as healthcare, aerospace, electric vehicles manufacturing, and semiconductors is a growing sector in the area.
